Madiba is the latest brand created by Delta.  It is an entry level wine, most enjoyable and easy drinking, with a very original and eye-catching packaging..

Madiba is Xhosa for great man, and it is known to be the nickname of former South African president Nelson Mandela.

Since its origin in 2001, different Madiba's are available :

ORIGINAL BOTTLED MADIBA (WO Wellington - produced by Bovlei Winery)

Chenin Blanc 2009 : Dry, fruity and fresh, easy drinking.

Cinsaut / Ruby Cabernet 2008 : Dry, spicy red wine.  Lightly chilled in summer, excellent with barbecue.

MADIBA BAG IN BOX 3l : (WO Robertson - Boxed by B/0459)

Filled in Belgium to ensure maximum freshness. 

Chenin Blanc 2009 : Dry White wine, fruity and crisp with hints of white and exotic fruit. (aperitif, salads, light meals and seafood).

Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot 2008 : Rich and well balanced red wine with hints of red fruit. (grill, meat and cheese).
